My wife was a Robbins, a descendant of Daniel Robinson, c1627-c1714, who was captured at the battle of Worcester in 1651 and sold into servitude in America. An old Bible record identifies Daniel’s father as Richard – presumably born about or before 1600. Other Robinson captives sold in America were James, Alester, John (2 of that name), and Charles Robinson. This list of prisoners recorded in Massachusetts also includes a Danniell Gunn as well as some Jamesons and Wilsons. We would really like to learn more about Richard and Daniel Robinson (of any spelling).
