Hi, I am writing a historical romance novel based in the 17th century. I am descended from Clan Gunn through my mother's family (she is out of Gunn and Crawford clans)... This site was really very helpful in finding out who my ancestors really were. I found it so interesting that I have re-written my book to base it on the history of the Gunns. My main herione is now a re-written Gunn. Thanks you so much for putting all this together! It really was such an amazing learning experience and has made me feel closer to my strong Scottish heritage.
